I’m sending you pictures of my wounds and scars as I believe seeing the full extent and ugliness of this destructive beahviour will hopefully convince others that hurting themselves is not the way to go.
My name is Leah, I’m fifteen years old and have been self harming since I was eleven. Until recently it has only been cutting but now I’m into the “habit” of burning. I’ve had stiches several times which I am truly glad because my whole body is scarred from not seeking medical help.
I beg all of you out there, please, hurting yourself accomplishes nothing, you are only abusing yourself and being slowly tangled into an ugly addiction.
