My name is Alena. I’m seventeen years old and from Germany. I started cutting when I was twelve years old. I think one reason that I started this is that I have struggled with bulimia and it’s even today hard for me to express my feelings in a different way than with cutting and purging.
What you see on my finger is the result of chewing on my fingernails and the skin of the fingers all the time…
I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one, who struggled with self-injury so far.
