My name is Lexy and I am fourteen yrs old. I started cutting last year. My parents found out about five months after I started. They freaked out, made clear that they thought it was disgusting, and demanded I stopped immediately. They found out seven times and said if they found out once more, they would send me to a treatment facility. I started cutting on my arms, then when my parents found out, my legs, they saw again and I am currently cutting on my waist. I never want them to find out again. I wish they would just leave me alone. A few of my friends know, some took it well, others didn’t. Some confessed that they did too. I would love any e-mails from people who know what I’m going through or need to talk.
