Self injury? Nothing more taboo in this society than someone who goes for the knife over the Bible. And why shouldn’t it be? Today’s kids are walking the streets with scars all over their bodies. I used to be one of them. Now I’m older, but I still cut on myself. I’m on of the few who has escaped the torment of the psychiatric hospitals only to live with this never ending curse. But at some times I like it. The pain I get from cutting feels so much better than the pain that I feel on the inside of me, the pain that will never stop. Self mutilation is the only escape; and I use it to my advantage.
