- Self-Mutilation/Cutting One of the better single-page introduction to self injury I have come across. It describes the methods, demographics etc. and has a reasonable list of resources.

- Healthy Mind BBC has a nice minisite on the topic.
- The Hidden Truth Offers the author’s personal experiences and a brief general description of self injury. Has some interesting sections on how to stop. Lists a lot of interesting answers to a self injury questionnaire hosted on the site.
- Kharre’s Home Kharre’s site is an excellent introduction to self injury for both the self injurer and his/her family and friends.
- Secrets Swollen So Sore Online version of a quite good self-help manual.
- Cutters – An essay-style introduction to self injury and a nice section on how friends can help self injurers.
- International Cutters United – Describes self injury and has a self help section for people who self injure.
- Mental Health In The UK – Information about mental health issues. Has information on anxiety, depression, self-harm etc.
- My Friend — My Enemy – Has a lot of useful information on how to handle self injury emergencies.
- Self-Harm – 8 pages of short descriptions of different aspects of self injury. Has an interesting theory on the cycle of self mutilation.
