History
Main Site
Take a trip in the time machine to see how Psyke looked in some of its previous incarnations (or use the WayBackMachine):
1998, June
The first version of Psyke. This was back when popups and black backgrounds where all the rage. At this point, Psyke was still part of my personal homepage and only consisted of a few links.
Take Me Back – complete site.
2000, March
This is the first proper version of Psyke. It was made to be usable on small monitors, but it still looks, I think. This version of Psyke was the first to include forums. I used the classic WebBBS script, which turned out to behave spectacularly bad under pressure – it crashed the server on numerous occasions.
Take Me Back – complete site.
2000, September
What could have been the Jakob Nielsen edition of Psyke.org.
Take Me Back – partial mockup.
2000, November
A variation on the March 2000 version.

2001, October
I revamped Psyke to conform to current web standards. Obviously, I didn’t spend too much time on the graphical side of the update.
Take Me Back – complete site.
2002, April
Trying out a three-column layout and a new logotype.
Take Me Back – partial mockup.
2002, July
New logotype, new layout. For some reason I chose not to publish this version. Probably because it didn’t look just right.
Take Me Back – complete site.
2002, October
Same logotype, new cleaner layout. Still didn’t feel it looked good enough to be published.
Take Me Back – complete site.
2004, April
Minor changes to the current layout. Never used on the public site.

Other Projects
Human Jewelry Zine
I toyed with the idea of publishing some of the content from Psyke.org as a zine. The first pages from the first issue are available in PDF (179 kB).
Psyke Book
This was my first try at making a printed version of the site. It doesn’t look as stylish as the current version. The first pages are available in PDF (26 kB).

A couple of banners made for the previous version of the site:
